Reworked as a lifestyle shoe, the adidas Handball Spezial Core Black White throws back to the heritage Spezial that was launched back in '79 for handball players. Now, embraced as a wardrobe staple and a beloved icon of the catalog, the Core is here to stay.
Sleek in black and white with padded and stitched textile uppers, the Spezial Core's are one of the lighter lifestyle shoes from adidas. With their enhanced stability and grippy outsole, they were originally designed for traction on handball courts. The midsole is thin and flat, but not without supportive cushioning for everyday wear. The branding is clean with the 3-Stripes in white leather on the sides and the Trefoil logo on the back heel. The gold special text sits on the outer sides. The tongue maintains the original logo from the OG shoe.
We love the visible stitching on the upper design of these re-imagined specials. Maintaining iconic status with their glow-up, the adidas Handball Spezial Core Black White was released on August 2, 2024, priced at $110.
