The adidas NMD Hu Pharrell Williams Clear Aqua's upper is made of, stretchy Primeknit. A midfoot cage with a cutout and rope laces that wrap over the top of the foot support this sock-like base layer and comes in monochrome shades.
The shoe's distinguishing feature is a Xhosa (Bantu language) writing embossed that runs from behind these laces to the toebox and says "Uluntu," which translates to "community" in English. On the leather heel pieces, an additional emblem is printed, featuring an adidas Originals Trefoil on the right foot while a graphic of equality by Pharrell on the left foot. Anatomy prints can be seen on the insoles and collars, and a cool blue midsole with BOOST technology with both heel bricks and forefoot are some further details. Its TPU cage unit, gray specks on the laces, and black inner lining complete the design.
