The adidas NMD R1 Core Black Shock Purple is an athletic shoe crafted from a fabric upper in monochrome Core Black. With a long heritage, German athletic wear brand adidas has honed its expertise in creating performance athletic shoes. Beyond that, throughout history, the brand has maintained its signature design motifs, including the three stripes and trefoil. The NMD R1's contemporary aesthetic provides adidas with another canvas on which the brand can experiment, with its combination of plugs, midsole, and stripes offering numerous abilities to generate color variations.
In this iteration, adidas' signature three stripes are printed on the sides in Core Black, accented by black lacing. A white midsole displays the Shock Purple and neon yellow heel and midsole plugs. A branded heel tab and additional logo printing on the inner side provide additional color pops, and the Core Black outsole grounds the look.
