The adidas Ultra Boost 4.0 DNA Chinese New Year is a sustainable, comfortable, high-performance shoe that uses colorful graphics to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
The upper of this sneaker is crafted from black Primeknit, made up of 50% recycled Parley Ocean Plastic and 50% recycled polyester. A black synthetic cage courses up the side panel, integrating into the eye stays for a snug closure, and forming the iconic 3-Stripes. These stripes are decorated with bright reddish-orange images of birds. A molded black synthetic heel counter helps provide foot stability. A black midsole composed of Ultra Boost foam offers springy cushioning. The white continental rubber outsole, with its Stretchweb technology, provides flexibility as well as shock-absorbing traction. Both the midsole and outsole extend beyond the heel for greater foot stability.
The standout details we appreciate most about this sneaker are the celebratory hits of pure red on the upper. Red Ultra Boost branding hits the heel counter, while a red-branded pull loop at the heel helps ease on/off.
