The adidas x Gucci Gazelle Red is a shoe designed as one of the first collaborations between the two brands featuring double branding.
This iteration of the adidas x Gucci is made with a red velvet upper. Red suede forms the T-shaped toe cap, but it's thinner than with traditional adidas models. The adidas three stripes logo adorns each side in white leather, while the Gazelle model name appears on the lateral side in gold. The heel collar is white and features the adidas trefoil logo with the Gucci brand name underneath. Similar branding is found on the gum rubber outsole and on the logo patch on the tongue. The tongue is also red and features patterning.
What stands out about this shoe is the upper, which is made of red velvet, which elevates the shoe from a lifestyle and sports shoe to something more elegant and upscale. The adidas x Gucci Gazelle Red was released on June 7, 2022, for $850.
