The adidas XLG Runner Deluxe Gray blends vintage running DNA with a chunky, Y2K-inspired silhouette in a sleek monochrome finish.
Inspired by vintage runners, the Gray adidas XLG Runner Deluxe starts with a mesh base to keep things breezy. Like most track shoes, rubber, suede, and leather overlays wrap around the mesh upper, providing structure and durability. The 3-Stripes logo, finished in rubber, graces the lateral and medial sidewalls, while the adidas Performance logo features on the forefoot, heel, tongue, and rubber outsole. The upper sits on a 2-inch chunky Cloudfoam midsole finished in Silver Metallic, seamlessly blending with the overall gray theme. A rubber outsole provides grip, while super-long laces ensure a secure fit.
The adidas XLG Runner Deluxe Gray stands out for its exaggerated proportions, showcasing a chunky midsole for bold cushioning and extra-long laces for a dramatic, oversized look. The sneaker was released on February 6, 2025, and sold for $160.
