The ASICS Gel-NYC Mid Gray Sheet Rock is a performance running shoe that adds a grayscale colorway to the ASICS Gel-NYC silhouette.
This sneaker draws inspiration from heritage running sneakers in the ASICS catalog, including the GEL-NIMBUS 3 and the GEL-MC PLUS V. Specifically, the upper features crisscrossing overlays inspired by the GEL-MC PLUS V and a mesh upper similar to the one found on the GEL-NIMBUS 3. While the mesh comes in Mid Gray, the overlays display metallic silver. In terms of technology, the bulky midsole houses a combination of lightweight foam and gel technology in the forefoot and rear. These additions provide responsive cushioning and support for the foot.
