The ASICS Gel-NYC Midnight Midnight updates the Gel-NYC silhouette with an ultra-dark navy colorway of Midnight and shiny accents in metallic silver.
Sourced from heritage models in ASICS' catalog, including the Gel-Nimbus 3, this lifestyle sneaker emulates the look of technical running shoes. For instance, it features a bulky foam midsole with semi-transparent gel inserts and extra padding in the side walls, collar, and tongue. The upper is crafted from breathable mesh, which allows the foot to breathe, while the overlays are made from synthetic leather and soft suede. Although Midnight covers most of the shoe, some of the overlays and ASICS stripes come in metallic silver. Expect minimal branding, including the logo on the tongue and side panel.
