The ASICS GT-2160 White Illusion Blue is a technical running sneaker that pays homage to various performance running shoes from the 2010s.
Like its predecessor, the GT-2000, this sneaker boasts wavy sculpting on the forefoot that creates the illusion of motion. While the upper is crafted from lightweight mesh with a wide weave, the synthetic overlays form an almost grid-like design that supports the shoe. The colorway features White and Illusion Blue, which manifests as a White base with Illusion Blue piping and splashes of color. A segmented midsole underfoot also pays tribute to previous models, and gel technology inserts provide advanced cushioning. Both the heel collar and the tongue are padded for additional comfort.
