The New Balance 550 Gray Day (2023) is a unique colorway of the New Balance 550 silhouette, which combines retro basketball aesthetics with modern streetwear sensibilities.
The shoe's upper features a suede construction with leather underlays. Both materials blend seamlessly to give the shoe some texture, which is further enhanced by the Nimbus Cloud color scheme – resembling a soft and pale shade of gray. It also has black and navy accents on the side panels and tongue. The shoe retains some iconic New Balance 550 branding elements, such as the 'N' logo on the side panels, the 'NB' on the tongue and heel, and the number '550' on the lateral side.
