The Nike Air Huarache Liverpool takes a classic silhouette and dresses it to honor Liverpool FC, the famous team competing in the English Premier League. This shoe construction designed by Tinker Hatfield in 1991 for high performance running has been taken on undeniable lifestyle perspective.
The Liverpool iteration of the Nike Air Huarache features the signature Huarache upper with a base made of a breathable neoprene-blend fabric and a subtle sheen. Overlays of white leather add to the aesthetic and provide structural support. The red checkered vamp, tongue, and collar borrow from the flag pattern of the Liverpool fans, while the inner sleeve of the sock liner guarantees a snug fit. A springy foam midsole in white offers cushioning and a black rubber outsole delivers dependable traction.
The part of this shoe we love the most is the signature Huarache plastic heel clip. The wrap-around style with stripped away Nike branding makes this sneaker iconic. The Nike Air Huarache Liverpool was released on December 22, 2021, for a retail price of $130.
