The Nike Air Max 1 Essential Summit White Black updates the recognizable Air Max 1 Essential silhouette with a clean colorway of Summit White and Black with tan details.
Supported by a foam midsole with an Air Max unit in the heel, the Summit White Black Nike Air Max 1 Essential delivers the same responsive cushioning as the original Air Max 1 model from 1987. However, the color-blocking scheme is decidedly modern. The Summit White mesh forms the base of the upper, while the suede overlays, heel panels, and eyelets are available in tan. Adding contrast, a synthetic leather mudguard wraps around the base of the shoe in black, complementing the tonal Swoosh and rubber outsole. Finally, Nike Air Max branding in black decorates the tongue's woven tag and the heel.
