The Nike Air Max 270 Pink Foam (Women's), in women's sizes, is a sneaker with a mesh fabric upper in Pink Foam. Nike Swoosh branding and Air 270 branding are embroidered on the side and tip in tonal pink foam. The bisected mid- and outsole combination features an oversized visible Air unit and the shoe's three shades of Pink Foam, Pearl Pink, and Pink Rise. A heel tab and Air 270 branding on the tongue finish the look.
In the 1990s, Nike developed its Air Max series, which sought to revamp comfort and wearability in shoes for running. This led to the development of the visible Air Unit, which displays how the Air Max series contain air parcels within the sole. With the Air Max 270, Nike emphasizes the visible Air unit, while also employing EVA foam, and the result is a highly comfortable and aesthetically distinct running and lifestyle shoe.
