Most Nike Air Max 95 sneakers feature premium materials worked into the mix. The Nike Air Max 95 Cuban Link Velvet Brown (Women's) took these materials to the next level to create an even higher-end version of the long-running AM95.
The upper on this women's Air Max 95 included everything from smooth leather and tumbled leather to suede and nubuck. These materials were layered along the sides of the sneaker, and a handful of colors, including pink, velvet brown, and black were used to tie them all together. The sneaker also featured visible Air bubbles in the midsole in both the forefoot and heel areas.
But our favorite part of this sneaker was the gold Cuban link bracelet that Nike worked into the lacing system on the left shoe. It instantly set this AM95 apart from other options that have been unveiled over the years, and it helped give the shoe its name. The Nike Air Max 95 Cuban Link Velvet Brown (Women's) was released on June 11, 2020, and retailed for $180.
