The Nike Air Max 95 Unearthed is a limited-edition colorway from the Nike Air Max 95 that features cascading overlays in summit white, cacao wow, light British tan, and velvet brown that allude to the layers of the earth.
Starting with the wave inspired upper, you'll notice synthetic and mesh layers that lead up to white speed lacing eyelets and white laces. Air Max branding hits are in the form of an embroidered logo on the tongue and Swoosh on the lateral ankle side. Air units are visible under the heel and forefoot in a blue color, a nod to water. The cascading overlays are earthy tones and different on both sides.
Our experts think that the fact that the lateral and medial sides of the upper boast different color palettes is this shoe's prominent feature. While the lateral side draws inspiration from rocks and minerals, the medial side has soil-inspired tones, and together they add to the colorway's Unearthed motif. When it was released, the Nike Air Max 95 Unearthed retailed for $175.
