The Nike Air Max Plus has been around for more than 25 years, but it continues to give off a futuristic look long after its initial release. The Nike Air Max Plus White Metallic Silver (GS) was unveiled in grade school sizes and helped keep this tradition alive.
The white upper on this Air Max Plus was made from stretchy fabric. It also had a rib-style support system that was designed to give the sneaker a more aesthetically pleasing appearance while also providing it with more stability than it would have otherwise. It had pops of silver worked into the mix as well to make the white sneaker shine a little brighter.
But the best part about this sneaker, according to our experts, may have been all the technology crammed into it. From the Tuned Air that ran from the midsole of the shoe to its heel to the Max Air cushioning that was present in both the forefoot and heel, this sneaker was ahead of its time.
