The Nike LeBron 16 MPLS Lakers was released as a tribute to the Minneapolis Lakers basketball team. The design draws inspiration from the team's classic colors and pays homage to the franchise's rich history.
The men's MPLS Lakers edition of Nike LeBron 16 showcases a color palette of "Wolf Grey/white/University Blue" complemented by subtle gold accents. Drawing inspiration from the Minneapolis Lakers team, the sneaker features embroidered Swooshes on the medial side and debossed dual-tone Swooshes on the lateral side in blue and gold suede. The heel displays a crown-wearing-lion stamp, while the "LJ16" branded tongue incorporates suede material, and it's finished with white laces and a tricolor outsole.
What we think as the one standout feature is the embroidered Swoosh on the medial side, which adds a touch of elegance and craftsmanship to the sneaker. The debossed dual-tone Swoosh on the lateral side in blue and gold suede showcases the attention to detail in capturing the essence of the Minneapolis Lakers.
