The Nike Tailwind 79 Black White is part of a series of retro-style sneakers that was first released in the 1970s.
The upper of the Tailwind 79 is made of a breathable black and white mesh with black suede overlays on the toe box and heel. It also features the Nike Swoosh on both sides in a contrasting white color, along with Nike branding on the tongue. The sneaker also offers additional accents in the form of black laces and a white midsole that features Nike's Air cushioning technology, providing a comfortable feel while wearing. The shoe has a low-cut design that is designed to allow easy movement.
