The Nike Vandal High Stüssy Deep Royal Blue is part of a collaboration between Nike and Stüssy, a California-based streetwear label known for its surfer and skater apparel.
Paying homage to Stüssy's laidback design ethos, the sneaker's upper is made of woven hemp with a durable weave and dyed a Deep Royal Blue hue. Swoosh logos in black check across the side panels, reminding everyone of the sneaker's Nike design heritage. Other black elements include the supportive ankle strap, the thick laces, and the textured tread on the rubber outsole. Something that makes this high-top sneaker stand out is its exposed foam tongue. It cushions the foot and adds a retro styling element to the sneaker.
