Les Jordan 13 Retro Playoffs font leur grand retour en 2023, leur première apparition depuis leur dernière réédition en 2011. Michael Jordan a porté pour la première fois les Air Jordan 13 Playoffs lors du NBA All-Star Game de 1998 et a continué à porter ces baskets tout au long de la saison, jusqu'à remporter son sixième titre NBA, un record.
Le design original de Tinker Hatfield pour la Jordan 13 s'inspirait du style de jeu agressif de Jordan, surnommé « Black Cat ». Cette sneaker rétro présente une empeigne en cuir noir, des garde-boue en daim et des yeux holographiques sous chaque col.
