The New Balance 550 Black Gum White channels a retro basketball feel from the 80s and boasts a black, gum, and white color combination.
The original New Balance 550 debuted in 1989 and was reintroduced with great fanfare and numerous colorways. This particular colorway features a tonal black upper that is made out of premium suede and leather. The suede appears on the toe guard and the heel counter, looking a bit distressed and giving the shoe a bit of edge. New Balance branding hits include the original capital letter ‘N’ on the side panels, with other NB branding on the midsole, heel tab, and tongue. You’ll spot 550 in white on the lateral eyestay.
