The Black Red New Balance 550 features a lightweight and sturdy upper made of synthetic and mesh materials for ventilation and comfort. The midsole has a dual-density foam construction, which provides both responsiveness and cushioning. The outsole is built of sturdy rubber to provide a firm grip and durability. The shoe features an "N" logo on the lateral sides, an "NB" branding on the heel, "550" on one side, and a "new balance NB" inscription on the tongue. An "NB new balance" lettering on the midsole completes the shoe's design.
