This colorway draws inspiration from the original 1987 Nike Air Max 1 model and showcases an iconic university red theme. Neutral grey overlays house a polygon mesh pattern, which is a nod to 8-bit retro video games. The signature Nike Swoosh is in red with sharper edges, and the same edgy style and pixelated pattern is seen on the mudguard, quarter, and heel. The toe cap, tongue, laces, and sock liner are crisp white. Notice the small white embroidered Swoosh on the mudguard.
