The Nike Air Max 95 Black Metallic Gold dresses an iconic silhouette in a stealthy colorway with vibrant, metallic hits of contrast that makes this shoe eye-catching at every turn.
This iconic sneaker is built upon an upper with a base of tightly lotion woven black mesh. Leather overlays undulate across the side panel from the heel to the black leather toe cap in different shades of black, with one strip of gold sandwiched in between and branded with a black Nike Swoosh. Other hits of gold accent the upper at the eye stays and laces. The black foam midsole encapsulates visible cassettes of Air, and the long cassette under the heel has gold tinted Air. The lugged black outsole features visible gold striping through a groove in the rubber.
The aspect of this shoe that we enjoy the most is the strip of black leather overlay directly beneath the gold. It sports a subtle, yet distinctive crocodile patterning. The Nike Air Max 95 Black Metallic Gold was released on August 1, 2016, for a retail price of $170.
