The Nike Air Pegasus '89 Premium Light Iron Ore is a retro-inspired sneaker with contemporary comfort updates. It comes in a neutral colorway of Light Iron Ore with complementary details in Photon Dust, Flat Pewter, and Metallic Silver.
Featuring a chunky midsole and padding in the tongue and collar, the slightly bulky silhouette pays tribute to the original Pegasus from the 1980s. However, the upper is constructed from a mesh with a loose weave and large holes instead of traditional sports mesh. This material allows the foot to breathe and gives the sneaker a contemporary texture. Suede overlays cross the mesh, while the signature Nike Swoosh comes in Metallic Silver. Air cushioning in the heel protects against impact, while texturized tread provides traction.
