The Nike Air Presto Safari Pure Platinum follows up on the Nike Air Presto Safari of 2016. This sneaker, also known as the White Safari, was launched along with the Gold Safari, Teal Safari, and Red Safari.

The Pure Platinum Safari version of the Nike Air Presto features an upper that builds on a base of white neoprene and mesh. Synthetic overlays with a safari print in cement and black form a heel counter, toe cap, and a midfoot cage that integrates into the eye stay for a snug closure. A gray Nike Swoosh hits the toe box, and a white pull tab at the heel helps ease on/off. The white Phylon midsole houses Air for ultimate cushioning and sits on a black rubber outsole that sports lugs for traction and grooves for flexibility.

Our favorite parts of this shoe are the hits of bright red at the midsole Nike Swoosh, the tongue lining, and the sock liner. These pops of scarlet add head-turning contrast. The Nike Air Presto Safari Pure Platinum was released on May 11, 2017, for $140 retail.
