The Nike Ja 1 Bite is a dynamic basketball shoe created through the collaboration of NBA star Ja Morant and Nike. This stylish shoe delivers high-octane capabilities on the court.
The upper of the Ja Morant x Nike Bite sneaker features a mesh upper in shades of red stardust. This lightweight, breathable, flexible feel is supported by midfoot lockdown in the form of a tonal synthetic overlay that integrates into the lacing system. A black side panel Nike Swoosh adds a hit of dark contrast. A guardrail above the midsole helps ensure foot stability during landings and takeoffs. The foam midsole in blocks of white and speckled brown encapsulates Zoom Air under the forefoot for springy propulsion. A black rubber outsole hearkens back to the Nike Swoosh to tie together the look of this shoe.
What we enjoy most about this pair of kicks are all the hits of Ja Morant branding, including his number 12 on the heel tab, his signature on the lateral heel, and his initials on the tongue tag. The Nike Ja 1 Bite was released on February 1, 2024, for a retail price of $120.
