The Vans Sk8-Hi Led Zeppelin is a celebratory collaboration between Led Zeppelin and Vans that honors the 50th anniversary of the legendary band’s first album, which burst onto the scene in 1969.
This Led Zeppelin x Vans commemorative sneaker features an upper of black canvas with a black suede eye stay overlay and black leather tooling along the side panel. Black laces form a snug closure on this high top sneaker skate shoe. Red branding on the tongue matches Led Zeppelin branding just above the mud guard. The white rubber midsole features a red license plate with dual branding and rests atop a gum rubber outsole pattern for traction.
The standout detail that makes this sneaker undeniably noticeable is the quilted canvas side panel that features graphics from the Led Zeppelin album cover, including images of the ill-fated Hindenburg. The Vans Sk8-Hi Led Zeppelin was released on February 22, 2019, for $75 retail.
