The adidas Ultra Boost 2.0 Gold Medal was originally released in 2016 to celebrate the Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics that took place in the same year.
The Ultra Boost 2.0 Gold Medal sneakers feature a soft knit upper for maximum breathability and are fitted with adidas' signature Boost technology, which gives them an unparalleled level of cushioning and responsiveness. The upper is primarily black, with gold accents on the adidas 3-Stripes branding, tongue logo, and heel counter. The laces are also black, and there is a small Ultra Boost logo on the heel cup that is also in gold.
The adidas Ultra Boost 2.0 Gold Medal sneakers were released on August 17, 2016, at a retail price of $200.
