In the sneaker the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged CBC, "CBC" stands for Celebrate Black Culture. This monochromatic shoe was designed for and released to celebrate Black History month.
The upper of the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged CBC is lightweight Off-White PRIMEKNIT in a mixture of tighter and looser weaves. A tonal nubuck overlay on the heel, which sports embossed Ultra Boost branding, starts at the PrimeKnit, and wraps around the synthetic leather padded collar. The laces match the PRIMEKNIT upper and cross over a nubuck tongue, which has adidas branding on the tonal tongue tag. The black insole features a vivid orange basketball with the CBC logo and the bright purple words "Celebrate Black Culture." The white midsole is made from Boost cushioning and the black outsole is made of Continental Rubber in a latticework pattern that allows the Boost to expand.
