The ASICS Gel-NYC Cream Putty is an athletic shoe crafted with a white mesh upper, overlaid with an intricate pattern of overlays and ASICS stripes branding in cream leather, topped by putty-colored suede. ASICS Gel branding pops in black on the tongue, heel, and outer ankle, coordinating with the dark putty midsole and black tread outsole with black Gel inserts.
Japanese footwear and athletic wear brand ASICS has prioritized comfort in its designs since 1949, which is why the ASICS name is derived from a Latin phrase translating to sound mind with a sound body. The Gel NYC pairs an early 2000s aesthetic with a comfort structure shared with the Gel-Cumulus 16. The midsole's segmented design incorporates foam and GEL inserts for maximum cushioning and comfort.
