The New Balance 2002R Driftwood Sandstone features a multi-material upper that combines pigskin and textiles. An ABZORB midsole in white and Sandstone balances a foam-padded insole. An N-ergy outsole in Sandstone ties the sole together. A reflective N logo, 2002R, and N-ergy branding appear on the sides, tongue, rear, and toe wrap.
Designed to be a lifestyle shoe, the 2002R is a refinement of previous 2002 generations. The mixed material upper remains, while the sole is adapted from the 860v2. Never straying far from its classic branding style, the 2002R offers signature N branding amidst a more futuristic aesthetic, due to its graceful curves and cutouts.
