Since the very beginning, the Nike Air Force 1 has always been considered a basketball sneaker. But the Nike Air Force 1 Low Vast Gray Green used a series of colors and design choices to make it look like more of a tennis shoe.
Unlike many other Air Force 1s that have been introduced over time, this one included quite a few different materials, including an upper with a base made from suede and fabric. There was also tumbled leather used around the eyestays on the sneaker, in addition to the AF1's standard rubber midsole and outsole.
But in our expert opinion, it was the colors utilized on this AF1 that really made it appear as though it belonged on a tennis court. It had a combination of white, black, green, gray, and a small hit of gold on the Swoosh that gave it a sportier look than other AF1s. The Nike Air Force 1 Low Vast Gray Green was released on July 10, 2019, when it retailed for $130.
