The 2021 Varsity Royal Nike Air Griffey Max retro color palette takes inspiration from Griffey's time with the Seattle Mariners. It boasts a vibrant blue nubuck upper that contrasts beautifully with white synthetic leather panels. Vibrant volt-colored accents add a striking touch to the Nike swoosh logo on the heel and the adjustable ankle strap. The strap even features Ken Griffey Jr.'s jersey number from his time with the Mariners. Further pops of volt appear on the midsole, which incorporates Max Air units in both the heel and forefoot for enhanced comfort and cushioning.
