Brighter blue synthetic foxing adds stability at the base of the upper and matches the bright blue rope laces and the bright blue Nike branding on the tongue. Molded foam beneath the mesh adds ridged support at both the midfoot and the heel. Foam cushioning in the midsole provides springy energy return and houses a full-length visible Air unit with Air Max branding in blue script.
