The Nike Air Max Plus Reverse Sunset is a 2021 update to Nike's Air Max Plus line originally released in 1998. It has an upper constructed of black mesh with orange and red overlays, with rubber mudguards and white midsoles with multiple Nike Air units built in. A black outsole runs underneath, replete with traction designs in yellow, red, and orange.
The Nike Air Max Plus Reverse Sunset draws its inspiration from inverting the original Nike Air Max Plus Sunset Gradient's color scheme. Red swooshes adorn its side, and a Nike swoosh logo emblazoned in white and red decorates the black tongue.
