The Nike Air VaporMax Plus Work Blue is a unique colorway of the VaporMAx Plus, a hybrid sneaker that combines the cushioning technology of the VaporMax with an Air Max Plus upper.
The shoes have an interesting color palette that combines a light blue hue with black and white. The light blue hue covers the upper while the midsole is fully white and the outsole black with a gradient effect that transitions to a transparent hue. The upper is made from a combination of materials including lightweight mesh and synthetic overlays and features a TPU cage that wraps around the midfoot. The sole unit, on the other hand, comprises of individual air pods strategically placed on the underfoot to deliver targeted cushioning.
The standout feature of the Nike Air VaporMax Plus Work Blue is the TPU cage that covers the upper to provide better stability and support while also making the shoes durable. The shoes were first released for retail on August 4th, 2018 at the price of $190.
