Maintaining its 1972 retro appeal, the Baroque Brown (Women's) Nike Cortez boasts a soft foam midsole in Sail with a khaki-colored wedge beneath the heel. The jagged design on the rubber outsole represents another heritage detail and increases traction. Reinventing the design for contemporary audiences, the sneaker offers a wider toebox than the original for lasting comfort. Baroque Brown covers the shiny textile upper and the suede details on the toebox overlay, the heel counter, and the eyelets. On the other hand, splashes of Sail on the Swoosh logos, the laces, the tongue, the heel tab, and the rubber outsole provide subtle color-blocking and a premium feel.
