In recent years, Nike has made a push to create more sneakers made out of sustainable materials like the Nike Cosmic Unity 2 Coconut Milk. Much like the Nike Cosmic Unity that came before it, this shoe contains recycled content that makes it one of the more eco-friendly sneakers in the Nike lineup.
At its core, the Nike Cosmic Unity 2 is a basketball sneaker that is designed to provide plenty of support. It's also a sneaker that was created with responsiveness in mind thanks to the full-length Air Zoom Strobel in the midsole, and Nike worked to keep it on the lighter side so that it wouldn't weigh people down when they wore it.
The thing our experts really appreciate about this sneaker, though, is the fact that it has about 20% recycled content in it, including a combination of both post-consumer and/or post-manufactured waste products. The Nike Cosmic Unity 2 Coconut Milk was originally released on August 18, 2022 for a retail price of $160.
