The Nike Dunk Low Premium Denim Turquoise is a multicolored low-top athletic shoe featuring a leather upper in Pale overlaid with Denim Turquoise. The Nike Swoosh emblazons the sides in Royal Pulse. A light peach sock liner and laces contrast the upper, accented by a red heel tab and red outsole. Nike branding appears on the heel tab and tongue.
When Nike first conceptualized the Dunk sneaker in the mid-1980s, it was to provide a color-coordinated sneaker options for college sports teams. The Dunk fell out of favor after a few years and became popularized by skateboarders in the late 1990s. Following this trajectory, the Dunk has found its place as one of Nike's most improvised on canvases, as is exemplified in the Low Premium's unexpected mix of tones.
