The Nike KD 3 Aunt Pearl is a variation of Kevin Durant's Nike KD 3 with a pink, pearlescent color scheme first seen in the Nike KD 4 edition. This vibrant colorway pays tribute to Kevin Durant's aunt who played a significant role in his life and passed away in 2000 from lung cancer.
The KD 3 Aunt Pearl features retro upgrades without retooling the interior of the shoe. It includes ballistic mesh sidewalls that provide support without sacrificing breathability. The upper also boasts smooth leather and flexible synthetic materials, which are covered in soft pink colors. The leather overlays and tongue display a pearly sheen that compliments the translucent tread on the bottom of the shoe.
Something our experts love is the mismatched branding details on the tongues. The right shoe's tongue features KD branding, while the left shoe's tongue showcases the Kay Yow Cancer Fund logo. The Nike KD 3 Aunt Pearl was released on October 15, 2023, and retailed at $130.
