Nike SB first unveiled the Nike SB Bruin React, which was a modern take on its iconic Nike SB Bruin sneaker, in early 2020. The brand eventually went on to release it in a handful of different colorways, including the subdued Nike SB Bruin React Dark Obsidian Hyper Jade.
This version of the Nike SB Bruin React features a Dark Obsidian upper constructed out of a combination of mesh and suede. It also includes a solid white Swoosh on one side of the shoe along with the outline of a Swoosh on the other. There is a Hyper Jade heel tab on the back of the sneaker as well that pops when it's put next to the Dark Obsidian color.
But still, the thing our experts like best about this sneaker is the React foam cushioning in it and the Electro Green lining on the inside. It adds a touch of comfort and more color to the mix to set this skate shoe apart from others in the Nike SB collection. The Nike SB Bruin React Dark Obsidian Hyper Jade was released on September 1, 2020, when it originally retailed for $100.
