The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 SP University Red is a vibrant sneaker that incorporates different fabrics and textures in order to create an eye-catching pair of kicks.
The University Red Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Special Project features an upper with a base of red mesh. This mesh is overlaid with a loose white mesh on the collar, heel, and toebox. Overlays of red synthetic leather and red synthetic suede streak across this mesh-on-mesh upper. Red plastic forms a cage-like heel counter and a cage across the quarter panel. A white foam midsole provides cushioning, while thick red rubber lugs form the outsole with a waffle pattern under the forefoot.
The aspect of this sneaker that we enjoy the most are the reflective details on the upper. The silver side-panel Nike Swoosh, along with detailing in the laces and hits on the toe cap, glow in the dark, giving this jazzy sneaker even more sparkle.
