The UGG Tasman Slipper Driftwood White Pepper (Women's), in women's sizes, is a casual shoe in a slip on mule style featuring a suede upper in Driftwood's classic tan shade. The chunky rubber sole echoes the Driftwood hue, and the UGGBraid around the opening is done in teal and white pepper. The UGG logo imprint accents the UGGbraid.
While footwear and lifestyle brand UGG gained a massive following in the early 2000s, the brand actually started in 1978, founded by an Australian surfer in California named Brian Smith. Smith catapulted the brand first by importing the shearling lined Australian boots that he missed in the US By 1994, UGG was outfitting the US Olympic Team in at the Lillehammer games, and the brand has risen steadily since then.
