The adidas Campus 80s Bape 30th Anniversary Brown is a collaboration between the iconic German sneaker company and the renowned Japanese streetwear brand. This shoe reimagines a classic adidas silhouette to celebrate the 30th anniversary of A Bathing Ape.
The Bape 30th Anniversary iteration of the adidas Campus 80s silhouette in Brown features an upper composed of rich brown suede. The suede eyestays, tongue, rope laces, and leather sockliner are the same rich brown. A smooth white leather tab adorns the heel. This upper rests on an off-white cupsole construction that features herringbone traction on the outsole.
The aspect of this pair of kicks we most appreciate is the clever dual branding. A white leather Bape shooting star with A Bathing Ape branding in gold script adorns the lateral side panel, while a white leather signature with three stripes and Campus branding graces the medial. Babe Sta branding in gold appears on one heel tab, while adidas trefoil branding appears on the other. The lace jewel and tongue tag commemorate the 30th anniversary. The adidas Campus 80s Bape 30th Anniversary Brown was released on July 1, 2023, for a retail price of $150.
