The adidas Superstar Shelltoe Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Splinter is a special-edition sneaker from adidas that pulled inspiration for its design from Master Splinter, a mutant rat character from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.
Presenting in the Superstar silhouette, this sneaker has a cream-color rubber shell toe, which fits well with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle theme, as the main characters have shells. This particular iteration pays homage to the mutant rat Splinter, and the upper is an Earth Strata color and of a texture resembles his fur. Flanking the sides are the iconic 3-Stripes in dark red with a golden SHELLTOE branding imprint alongside them. The laces are a matching Earth Strata color, and there is additional adidas branding on the tongue and heel.
We think the standout feature of this shoe has to be the shiny golden metal sensei lace charms, completing the Ninja aesthetic and design. The adidas Superstar Shelltoe Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Splinter had a $120 price tag when it debuted on May 22, 2024.
