The adidas Ultra 4D Marvel Spider-Man 2 is part of a collaboration between Nike and Marvel’s Spider Man 2 videogame, which was released in October for the PlayStation 5 console. The sneaker draws inspiration from Peter Parker’s Spiderman suit and represents a history of partnership between Marvel and Nike.
The sneaker comes in a colorway of Core Black, Vivid Red, and Cloud White; however, red is the dominant color. The upper is made of breathable mesh with overlays that cross in the form of stripes. Sketched black line graphics reach across the mudguard, streak around the overlays, and seep over the heel. The sneaker comes in a low-top silhouette with padding around the collar and a pronounced heel pull tab.
