The adidas Ultra Boost DNA Parley Black (2020) combines high-performance running technology with sustainability.
The sneaker showcases a black colorway with subtle detailing. The Primeknit upper provides a snug, sock-like fit, offering breathability and flexibility. The Boost midsole, a hallmark of the Ultra Boost line, ensures exceptional cushioning and responsiveness, resulting in a comfortable ride and energy return. The Torsion System technology in the midfoot enhances stability and supports natural foot movement. Additionally, the Continental Rubber outsole offers excellent traction and durability on various surfaces.
One of its notable features is the upper construction, which is made from recycled plastic materials, specifically upcycled ocean plastic. This collaboration between adidas and Parley for the Oceans aims to reduce environmental impact by repurposing marine plastic waste. To stick with the marine concept, wavy lines of Contrast Blue stitching and tonal embroidered Three-Stripes are added to the design.
