Made from vinyl, this brown holiday version of the KAWS Shanghai vinyl figure of a skull figurine on its back holds a fluorescent moon and wears a pair of playful dungarees. The coloring of this 9.5 inch figure ranges from brown to gray, with olive green for hair. The moon the doll is holding is off-white, resembling the look of the moon from Earth, and the box comes with luminous materials that represents the Mid-Autumn festival theme. The Shanghai sculpture’s symbolism is the tradition of the people of North Bund in Shanghai displaying lanterns for good fortune.
