The 550 from New Balance is regularly updated, and new colorways are always appearing. This black iteration is one of four colorways that were released as part of the "Sea Salt" pack to pay homage to the sea, sand, and summer. The upper aims to provide breathability through the mesh toe box and perforated side panels. The sea salt colored base lends way to black accents throughout the shoe, which usually present as New Balance branding hits such as the puffy large Ns on the side panels.
